I have no idea, Melody. I think I forgot about the contest way back when because of lack of publicity. I don't even remember if I sent any entries in.

Bob (Ott):

For the past several years HL has had a contest called Register and Win. People send in copies of receipts for purchases of full sized pieces (LE & GLOW) that were purchased from a dealer in Jan, Feb and March. All receipts have to be in by something like the end of the first week in April. Every receipt is one entry. Then, usually in May a drawing is held. Prizes have included: A lighthouse trip, AP's and the chance to choose a lighthouse to be made as a future LE. The news about the contest is posted on the HL website during the relevant period. Perhaps the winners will be announced in the next Legacy. Chances are that if you haven't received a phone call from HL you haven't won a prize. Or maybe they haven't had the drawing yet. One could always call HL to inquire.

I wonder if they are doing it this year. There usually is something in the mailing about it and I don't remember seeing it this year.

I don't recall a mailing, but there were signs in the dealer's stores, and we had a thread to remind folks about it.

Guess I'll give HL a call on Tuesday.

You are most probably right though Sue, if someone hasn't been contacted by now then they can pretty much consider they did not win.

Oh well there is always next year smile

Spoke with Customer Service at HL today. The Register & Win drawing was held and the winners notified. The winners names will be in the newest Legacy to be mailed shortly.

Carolyn & I were told that we won a prize from that contest before we left for the Wacko event in Wisconsin a few weeks ago. We got in the mail the AP of Mark Twain Memorial Event piece. We don't know about any of the other winners though.

Here are the Register & Win winners for 2004:

Lighthouse Research Trip for 2: Marta Phelps
Choose a Lighthouse To Produce: Larry Dinges
APs: Michael Dzurenko, Ann Neal, Roy & Carolyn McBee, Shirly Roberts, and Brian Loffredo.

Congratulations to all!!

The winner from 2003 for the "Choose A Lighthouse..." was Thomas Klinker of Florida who selected St. David's Lighthouse, Bermunda which is among the new June introductions. It will be available on a timed basis until March 31, 2005 at $65.

The Lighthouse Legacy issue about to be mailed includes photos of lots of the WACKOs on their visits to the St. Augustine Lighthouse and the tour to Cape Canaveral and Ponce Inlet Lighthouses.

Look for details on all the new introductions at www.HarbourLights.com in the next few days. I just got the photos last night.
