The town of Cape Elizabeth which owns the Portland Head Light and Fort Williams Park will undertake a clean up of one of the best-known and best-loved lighthouses.

It's nice to read that they are addressing maintenace issues before they become a real problem. It's also nice to hear the work will be completed before Memorial Day Weekend. I'm sure they host a lot of visitors between Memorial Day and Labor Day, and beyond.

Sounds like a town who has their "stuff" together! Unlike a more infamous one much further south!
