Thanks Paul. This old Coast Guard photo shows some rocks around the lighthouse.

Interesting article, thank you for sharing. It kind of makes you wonder where the rocks went if in fact they were ever put at the base. Maybe after pouring all that concrete, they figured the light would never move so why waste time and money putting in the rocks.
