John, I have a few pictures of the Portsmouth, they were taken on a overcast day, If no one else sends any I'll scan them and send them to you. also it is NOT afloat anymore it is encased in cement like the Huron except it is set with the rear towards the water not side to side like the huron, it is also sanwiched between two buildings with only a few feet to the west of space and only about 10-15 feet to east making good pictures very difficult.

John I also have some pictures of the Portsmouth. It was a nice sunny day they were taken. I don't have a scanner but would be happy to send copies to you.

Hey JC, ...I purchased a couple of postcards of the Nantucket Lightship but I don't know if it's #1 or #2. My scanner has decided to cease its primary purpose in life but I can mail the card to you if you need it. Let me know... From the East Coast where it's 35 degrees, the wind is around 15 knots, and we are expecting a little of the white stuff tonight. This is much too early for Winter! Bob

Thanks -- so far we've got Portsmouth and Nantucket (I? or II?) covered.
Still looking for the others.

John, I have pictures of Ambrose in South Street Seaport and another one from across the East River. It is now owned by Liberty Landing Marina but I think it was once called Winter Squall, Summer Squall, or something like that. Does that ring a bell? It may take me a while to scan them since our scanner is on the fritz, but your welcome to them.

Thanks CarolZ - I can wait or you can mail me the photos to scan and I'll return.
If it was the 'Winter Quarter', that too is on my want list.

John, I sent you pic of the Portsmouth a year or so ago when you first asked. In the not too distant past someone posted a good pic of the Portsmouth, one that looked like they had used a super wide angle. Maybe Sean?
