Just got back on Tuesday from my third tour as a lighthouse keeper with the same group of six other ladies at New Dungeness Light in Sequim WA. This year after coming off the spit, we decided to take a run over to Victoria BC to see Fisgard, sort of a sneak pre-view of part of the Alaska cruise.

We had an unexpected and really pleasing surprise. Not only is it the 150th anniversary of the light, so we got a special pin , but the Canadian Navy was returning from training maneuvers so I was able to get some pictures of one of the ships as it was passing by the light. I will try and post them in the next few days. I also have a short video of the ship passing and one of the tugs shooting their water cannons, are those postable? If so could someone tell me how?

Easiest method is to upload a video to YouTube.com and post a link to it here using "URL" button.
