Great article. Nice to see that they are hopefully in the process of getting the work done to protect the Light. Great also to hear that some of our elected officials will take the time to personally visit these far off places and take an interest in keeping them for the future. Thanks for sharing. Bert

That trip is not for the faint at heart. I would imagine they took one of the large ferry ships out there, but I've made that trip 3 or 4 times in 6' rolling waves and even in a 40' boat it still gave you the feeling you were on the SS Minnow
