I went out to Block Island for the weekend and while I was passing the Point Judith Light I notice the tower was surrounded by a scaffolding and the lantern room had been removed. Anybody know when they removed it? I imagine there will be many photographers who will be disappointed this summer if the lantern room isn't replaced soon.

I'm glad I made my visit there last November! ( at Pt. Judith ) - While in the area 3 weeks or so ago I visited Nauset, Chatham and the Three Sister on Cape Cod. I'm expecting good pictures if all goes well...

I passed by Point Judith Light last week on my way to Block Island, and I'm happy to announce that the tower has a fresh coat of paint and the lantern room is now back where it belongs. It looks great!
