 Delaware Bay Day at East Point

This Sat June 1st is Delaware Bay Day in South Jersey. Along with other Activities East Point Lighthouse will be open from 11am to 6pm. There will be vendors, food, and live entertainment on the grounds. Stop by and say hello if you come, I will probably be in the lighthouse controlling the traffic up to the Lantern room. Small space only 5 at a time.

The weekend weather cooperated yesterday for Bay Day. Mid 80's with a nice breeze of the bay. We had about 250 people come through the lighthouse during the day. It was a long day but it was great to see and hear the reactions as the people came by me on the way down.

Glad to hear you had a nice day and a nice crowd, Hank. Hopefully some of those 250 were new to lighthousing and you will have helped to "hook them" into doing more.
