I don't know what to say. I know that many people tried, the owner delayed hoping someone would move it. I think the city raised obstacles. Such a pity.

Yes, this is very sad to see. I've been following this effort since the beginning, but with no support from either the state or local governments, it had little chance.

I'm not sure even with the needed funding, they could move much of the building. I'm hoping, in the near future, they could build a replica from scratch. Similar to what was done for Tuckers Beach.

Still very sad to see the tearing down of this lighthouse !!!
