Well as you know I have done some work on the Anclote Light. IF RIP or Wayne ever gets another work party organized I'll be there.

I have not yet gotten the chance to get out to Anclote Key. I'm with Eric, if another work party gets organized and somebody tells me about it I'll be there! So I guess I'm willing to donate some sweat to the cause at anytime.

I guess I'll have to go out to the Saginaw River Rear Range Light and cut grass, remove debris, make debris, sweat, and get dirty in general.

I agree with Derith. Everyone should be involved some way with lighthouse restoration and preservation. No job is too small when it comes to helping out.

What are you going to do to help out?

Okay, Sean...you will be the first to know when another work party is going out to Anclote. Since more money has come their way, hopefully the action will pick up.

My contribution has been in the form of money-sofar. Money is important, but my willingness to work at the site is sincere.

Seems like when I am searching out there on the net, I find a lot of restoration work being done....and that is such a good thing!
I recently heard that there will be money to work on Bodie Island, NC. Hopefully the first thing they will do is stabilize the stairs. They have a lot of tourist that would gladly pay a couple of dollars to climb and then there would be more money for restoration.
