My dad recently purchased a KIA Sportage and the cover of the 1998 brochure had a lighthouse on it. I brought the brochure to the Reunion to get some help to identify it. The four people I asked all said Coquille River (which is what I told him), however, the advertising company just got back to him and identified the light as Cape Arago in Coos Bay Oregon. Does anyone have any information on this light? It sure must look a lot like Coquille River and seems to be in the same area as Bullards Beach State Park. Thanks. Herb.

Here is a site with pictures of most Oregon Lights, along with a bit of history for each. Cape Arago and Coquille are there for comparison. Bill's Lighthouse Getaway (Oregon page): http://zuma.lib.utk.edu/lights/oregon.html -RodW

Cape Arago looks more like Mukilteo than Coquille River. However I guess in the dark and with the light flashing, they might be alike. (And aren't we all alike in the dark?)

Thanks. I checked out the site and still think that it is Coquille River on the cover of the brochure.
