I hadn't realized it when I went on the cruise out to Toledo Harbor that the USCG put a full-sized mannequin dressed as a lightkeeper in one of the windows after the light was automated in 1965 as a "scarecrow" of some sorts to ward off ghosts. I'll post a photo taken of the Toledo light and you'll notice the mannequin in the upper left window! eek

Was Hannum accounted for at the time???? :p
