Up in the Collector Club Forum, Paul has posted his latest photo of "Bill With The Lighthouse @ The Real Lighthouse" taken Saturday at Wind Point.

Here 'tis:

Which OTHER lighthouses has Paul taken similar photos at?

Let's limit each person to just one lighthouse to keep this thread going.

You name the lighthouse and maybe we can get Paul to jump into each person's post and add the image. (Being a Saint, he can edit other people's posts.)

OK. I know he's got a GREAT shot of Bill @ Holland Harbor - Wind Blowing and All!

While I was off making a quick scan of the pic, BrightEyes snuck in on me!

Paul has also done pic with Bill at MC East Pier.

Cape Hatteras (w/ Hatteras-on-the-move)...I could be mistaken, but I thought I remember seeing it at one point.

Nope just my hand holding the Hatteras on the Move Lighthouse at Sunset

I also have one of the Hatteras on the Move Lighthouse sitting on the base where the real lighthouse had originally sat...

Grosse Point (Glow) taken by Paul at the get together from Rosemont two or three years ago.

I had planned ahead and brought my limited edition Grosse Point for a two for one picture!!

Since John started this thread with this years.picture at Wind Point, I thought I would just throw in the original Bill in front of Wind Point image..
It was a few years ago and the third one that Bill and I collaborated on..

fyi... there are 5 more Limited Edition Bill in front of the lighthouse images and 2 Little Lights versions of two lighthouses already shown...

Does it count that the jacket Bill's wearing in the second Wind Point picture is the one used as a model for the jacket on the Bill doll?

Just a guess... how about Old Point Loma and New Point Loma?

Shot this after spotting Bill at the lighthouse while on our tour. I ran down the hill to the Cabrillo Museum and purchased the Open Edition Old Point Loma... then ran back up the hill, while Sue (my wife) kept Bill busy with questions until my return...

New Point Loma was still being kept a secret when we visited it during the reunion lighthouse tour..

Since it's John's rule I will let him dole out the punishment, Randy!

No on the Chicago Harbor, It always seems that Bill's schedule is to tight to make it out to the light by boat, when the shows are going on in Chicago. These year on Sunday would have been the best time to have tried but.....

Just because you have a gold light, Randy, you are not exempt from following the rules. I have been good and refrained from further posting, though I know some of the not-yet-listed lights.

John, I think Randy's punishment should be to send me his Gold CSG.

John suggested that I go ahead and post the two Bill with Little Lights in front of the lighthouse pictures. He said that no one whould ever get them. Actually it is pretty easy....

Of course the Old Michigan City Little light is my favorite.....
( searching for Wind Pt LL)Image
Two of the last three lighthouses that I shot Bill with the LE , since there are now LL released of them.

Since this post I have shot another lighthouse with a LL and Bill

We did have the limited along with us on this event and the store only had the LL on hand...

Excuse me, Dave and Randy, but take it to another thread... this thread is about naming the remaining lighthouses that I shot Bill holding the HL LE in front of the real lighthouse. There are still four to go!!!

How about Sturgeon Bay?

Mike

Nope... no Sturgeon Bay..
There are only four left and they are all Great Lakes Lighthouses and new clue, which should give them all away.... They are basically in order.. get one and the other three are neighbors.. while not right next door they are neighbors..

At the time that Mike posted his guess I hadn't shot the folowing Sturgeon Bay image, maybe he was physic!

Could any of them be,
Lorain, Marblehead, Grand Haven & Chicago Harbor? Maybe Grand Traverse.

If Jim's multiple answer is disqualified, we'd like to guess Grand Haven.

How about Bill and Harbour Lights Grand Haven again, but this time with the Grand Haven Inner Light?

Tom & Joyce
Nope, but I would have to disqualify your guess any way because you have already had your one guess!!

Grand Traverse, Michigan. And I'd like to add that Paul did take one of Bill in front of Stugeon Bay Ship Canal Light.

Wow, Bob, you really dug deep to find this thread..

Judy should know almost all of them because I sent her an image of almost all of them that Bill and I have done in front of lighthouses for the calendar..

There is one that no one except Sue and I has ever seen (not even Bill), it just was shot under all of the wrong conditions (no light & overcast) and Bill was in a hurry to make a plane connection..

Most of them are available for owning if you go to our club's website and click on the fundraisers link and purchase the calendar the club has produced to raise funds for our lighthouse restoration projects..

I know which light and when it was taken, but I haven't seen the picture either.

I am in the process of updating the images in this thread.. There are still several lighthouses that haven't been guessed.. Some are in the calendar some are not!

It has been since 2001 that there are any guesses, I think it will be OK to allow everybody a second guess in the thread..

Grosse Point has already been guessed correctly by Mike and Patty K about a third of the way down the thread, Ruthie..
