To view the St. Clair Flats Channel Lights, you'll need to take a short 10 minute auto-ferry ride from Algonac MI to Harsen's Island - $5 round trip. Turn left off the ferry onto Michigan 152 and follow 152-South to the end of the state hightway. Continue on until the road deadends. These images were taken with the equivalent of about a 200 to 300 MM lens on a 35MM camera.
Allow about an hour round trip from the time you get on the Ferry until you return to Algonac. Then head north to view the Peche Island Rear Range light relocated to Nautical Park in Marine City MI.
