On Nov 14th, 1874 the lamp was first lit in the Hudson-Athens Lighthouse. Today officially marks the 125th anniversary.

Hey Mike - congratulations are due to you as well. I take it that's a shot of you down at the end of the list in the long list of Hudson-Athens Lightkeepers.

Do you have copies of the old logs or diaries from the earlier keepers? I noticed the first three share the same last name. There must be quite a story with the 'Best' of the keepers.

Enlighten us how it feels to be upholding a 125 year long tradition.

Without these efforts this light would not be in such wonderful shape. This light is a WOW both in the curio and especially in person!
