I totally missed the fact that the City of Oswego was able to obtain ownership of the lighthouse. It's some time ago that I heard it was being offered. (When the cost of our daily newspaper went up I.O. decided it wasn't worth spending the extra quarter so I'm limited to the Sunday edition. Guess he plans to take those extra quarters with him! ) Thank goodness for the on-line version. I can catch some of the news anyway.
