During last week's chat I asked a question about Longships. I had purchased a calendar which features a picture of this light. I was surprised to see that its roof was missing and asked at the chat if anyone knew why. I did receive the correct answer, that the top of this lighthouse is a heliport. At the time I thought this was a joke. Actually if I had paid attention when reading the C of A for this model I would have known this. So I do apologize for not acknowledging the answer given.

Thanks for the info, Mombo. I got that calender this weekend, and was curious about the same thing. I had never seen it with the heliport before.
