After being off-limits for 132 years, the doors are being opened to the Thomas Point Shoal Lighthouse this summer.

This is a really good article that gives tour information and tells the saga of how we finally got to this point. Wow! Imagine actually going inside!

I see the cost to visit is $70.00 per person, does anyone know how much of that is going to the upkeep of the lighthouse?? if any ?

To answer Mark's question, the $70 per person covers insurance, the charter boat trip and tour. That makes it possible for the partnership to break even.
