This past week I noticed two lighthouses in TV commercials. The first one was for Broyhill furniture and looked like it was Morris Island, SC in the back ground.
The second commercial is for a drug company (I can't remember which one) that is filmed in Victoria, BC. At the beginning of the commercial they show a shot of Fisgard lighthouse. The rest of the commercial is scenes around Victoria. Additionally, while I was in Victoria last month, my husband bought a coat made by Stormtech. Stormtech is made in Canada and the Stormtech logo is a lighthouse.
It seems lighthouses are becoming a popular form of advertising.

I saw the Broyhill commercial also, looked like Morris Island to me!!!
Locally, we have a commercial featuring a casino near Manistee, Michigan, and in the
background is the Manistee lighthouse. A
beautiful picture.
A true winner for HL to make!

I saw a recent commercial about a fellow who uses Wal-Mart 1 hour photo, and one of the scenes he is shown shooting is Morris Island.

There's also that Home Depot commercial for some kind of paint that has a gazillion shades of white that features a lighthouse. Is it Isle au Haut or Ram Island?

That was definitely Morris Island Now in the background of the commercial for Broyhill Furniture. Looks like they are using that commercial in several markets.  Bob

There's a VERIZON(wireless) and another different (from above-car?), I can't remember. It seems like every day there's another in the media!

I happened to catch another commercial last night for Wal-Mart photo processing. I think it showed Morris Island, SC in the beginning of the ad.

Can anyone tell me if the lighthouse on the Weather Channel spot for "Storm Watch" is North Head in Washington?

I think the weather channel is North Head, WA too.
