Please forgive me for asking what may be a stupid question, but how are you inserting these pictures in your posts? I know it is not permitted or possible to attach files, but how are you copying JPG's into the message body?

I have a nice Seul Choix picture showing both the lighthouse and the birdhouse together I'd like to show, but I'm clueless on how to accomplish that!

Now for your real test: Tell the people how to correctly pronounce the name of this light.

Okay; I understand now. Looks like I have to have a website or someplace to store the pics, so I can reference them from there. Well, I don't have a website right now, so I'll have to give this some thought. My ISP does provide me with some space, so I might look into that.

Seul Choix is pronounced "sishwa" or more properly "su shwa". My high school french was REAL rusty when I visited this light back in 1999, but they set me straight when I got there!

In 1999, my wife and I did the Lake Michigan Circle Tour (on a Honda motorcycle yet!), and visited just about every lighthouse on the way. Only missed a couple, not including the shoal lights in the Mackinac Strait.....

And the translation of the lighthouse name is "Only Choice". In other words, you better follow my light's directions or you'll end up in big trouble!

Questions for Engbrady.......

I really hate to get off-topic, but could you give me some additional pointers on posting pics? I went to webphotos.com like you suggested and created an album, then uploaded a pic. However, I was unsuccessful getting it to show up here, as you can see from my earlier post. What URL do I use to insert in the HTML or UBB? I used the address that showed in my browser when I viewed the photo, but it doesn't work? Do I have to make this album shared? Thanks...

Congrats, Terry. Not all that hard, is it? Great picture of a very interesting lighthouse. Did you see the inside trim that was done in copper, not wood? Talk about workmanship!

Pronounced 'Sis Schwaw'. One of my favorites - a great little side jaunt down one of those roads you're not sure about, but keep driving anyway. Think there is another shot in one of my galleries. There are several lighthouses with matching bird houses. Traverse city comes to mind. Any others?
