It looks a little better these days with a fresh paint job and a new light installed back in December!

Plum Beach Light would make a wonderful HL! It really looks great with its new paint job, and the color scheme sets it off from other lights of that style.

Gotta admit, Nauset_Light_2004,

Your link has a much better picture than mine.

It was being spruced up last year in September when we stopped by to see it after leaving the Harbour Lights Regional on Long Island. My recollection was that my wife was having a fit that I parked the car alongside the road and walked back to the bridge to get some photos. Oh well, some excitement needs to be put into our lives. eek laugh eek

This is what Plum Beach Light looked like last December when I took a stroll out on the bridge.

I e-mailed Harbour Lights and below is the response that I got. I thought it would be a good "Light" to add since it has recently been brought back to life after 62 years of neglect!

Hello Pat,

Thank you for your interest in Harbour Lights and for taking the time to write.
At this time the Plum Beach Lighthouse is not in our near-future product line.
I would be happy to add your request to our "Request For Future Production
List." I cannot venture to guess as to when we might add this light to our
line, but please be assured that your request will be taken into consideration.

Have a great day and ... Keep the Flame!

Robert and I were on the Chesapeake Chapter trip to Rhode Island the last 4 days, and we cruised by it and saw it again from the bridge. We wanted the bus driver to stop so we all could get a picture from the bridge. We also thought about making a category for the Chapter's photo contect "Pictures taken from a Bridge".

It does look great compared to the pictures we saw of it before it was started.
