Located in the northern Lake Huron area of Michigan there is a light that I would like to see HL consider as a future collectible. It's called "Forty Mile Point". Its a very attractive brick structure with a nice looking square tower rising from within the house itself. The origional building was built in 1897 but later "rebuilt" in 1937. Unlike many "lights" it doesn't have a particularily dramatic setting but the building itself is loaded with excellent architectural detailing....both inside and out.
Located close to the LH is an attractive fog-whisle building which would look good with the model, if one is ever cast.
You don't hear much about this "light" but being located just off of US-23, it does get its share of visitors each year.
I just thought that I'd throw my "2-cents" in since you seldom ever hear anything about it. Its a neat place to visit, too.

Here is a photo of Forty Mile Point my camera timer took the summer before last.

I would have to register my vote for Harbour Lights to create this piece as well, but then I am partial to all of the Michigan lights.

It would make a great addition to the HL collection. We were there last October for our second visit. It was during the Great Lakes Lighthouse Festival weekend. They had the lighthouse open and you could climb the tower. They are trying to raise money to do more restoration on this light. If you ever go to Mackinaw City just go east on US23. It is not at all hard to find. We are partial to Michigan lights also, as it is our home state.
