I seen Bill Younger today here in Dover, Delaware at a store signing. I told Bill that I would like to see the Lightning Rod make a come-back. I feel that the packing is alot better now then it was before. He seemed to be listening with a smile.

I would like to see them make a comeback as well but I doubt that HL will do it.

The resurrection of the lightning rods would be a wonderful asset to the pieces. I would definitely like to see them again. Maybe try a couple of test pieces? But, unfortunately, I have to agree that Bill & Company would probably refuse to incorporate the lightning rods at this point in time -- they just might lead to an increase of breakage reports. And I doubt that Bill would want that after all they've been through.
