I don't believe they have. You can find all the lighthouses that Harbour Lights has produced listed by the year of issue at www.harbourlights.com. It's the official website.

Someone asked Kim about Potowattomie this weekend at the Door County Walk, and she said that it was on the list and is going to be made. She just wasn't sure where it was on the list.

Here's a photo from last Saturday when a whole bunch of Wackos, plus other folks showed up for the the Dedication Ceremony. It sure would be nice to see HL produce this lighthouse. So many people have worked so long to bring it back to it's present condition....which is gorgeous! The interior rooms have been painted lovely bright colors. The woodwork is white. And the whole place is filled with antique furniture. We Wackos thoroughly enjoyed being there on this special day to celebrate with everyone, especially one of our Wackiest Wackos! smile

Nice picture of what appears to be a group of very dedicated WACKO'S. Am I right? Great pictures and the lighthouse looks very happy to be back in shape. Would be a great lighthouse to be done by HL. Maybe they could even get those white in.

Thanks for sharing the picture.

Wow! That's quite a crowd gathered at the light. Is this light easily accessible to the public?

Well Bob to get to this lighthouse here's what you have to do. First you have to get to the tip of the thumb of Wisconsin. Then you have to take a car ferry to Washington Island. Then you drive across the island to catch a passenger ferry to
Rock Island. (There are no vehicles allowed on this island.) Then you have to walk about a mile out to the lighthouse. The trail to the light has a steep hill to conquer near it's beginning, then it's not bad.

Last Saturday the Wackos who were on a boat tour of the island lighthouses got dropped off at the dock at Rock Island.

If you miss the boat, or last ferry, of the day you're stuck on the island.

Was Jim Johnston there? (With the 't'). He has worked so many years on this lighthouse, I certainly hope he made it.

John, I am almost positive Jim was there. It seems like I met him.

He was most definately there John. The wackos gave him a good round of applause when he was introduced. I know at least one of his boys was there helping move shoes around from the front door to the back.

(They had everyone remove their shoes that wanted to tour the lighthouse so it wouldn't get tracked from the mud on everyone's shoes. Even though it was sunny and beautiful on Saturday, it had been raining for several days and the road to walk into the lighthouse was quite muddy.)
