I'll apologize ahead of time if I've posted this in the wrong area (this is my first post to this BB, but I certainly don't think it will be the last), but my "wish list" would definitely include Sand Island and it's "twin" Morris Island I'm very taken by the plights of both of these lights, and with their future in question, I think a Harbour Light would be a great way to commemorate their service. Thanks, and again I apologize for intruding Christine

No apology necessary, Christine.
Harbour Lights has made Morris Island - Then and Now showing how it looked in it's heyday and how it looks now.
Sand Island - Is that the one in Alabama? or?

Thanks for the info on Morris Island, as I said, i'm very new to this ! I appreciate your help! And yes, Sand Island is in Alabama (3 miles off the coast of Dauphin Island).. It's deteriorated almost to the point of no return it seems, unless something drastic is done ASAP, and that doesn't seem likely. Such a shame to see, literally breaks my heart... Maybe one day Harbour Lights will work on it! Thanks again!

Christine, You can find out tons of information on the Harbour lights site. An easy way to find out which lights have been done and to see pictures of them is to got to http://www.harbourlights.com/index.htm and check out the following headings Harbour Lights Catalog Little Light of Mine If you just want to see a list of all the products go to http://www.harbourlights.com/forms/products.htm This will bring up a list of Harbour Lights with no pictures. Not as pretty, but quick. Check them all out along with the other sections of the Harbour Lights site. Welcome abaord. If you have any questions that arte lighthouse related (and even those not lighthouse related) post them in one of the forums and someone will be happy to give you an "expert" opinion. It's a friendly bunch of people. Dennis

Christine, I am sorry to say that Harbour Lights has not yet made Sand Island, AL Infact the only replica that I have seen is the Scaasis brand and thies can in no-way compair with Harbour Lights. Although I do have one, just because I wanted to have Sand Island in my collection. I do hope that they will make it sometime in the future !!!! And if you are interested in Sand Island I might suggest that you check out thier web site. www.sandislandlighthouse.com Stephanie
