For those of us that we're discussing the desire for tall towers, you gotta like the new Sullivans Island. This is one of the most unusual towers you'll ever see and at I think 7" tall, it certainly qualifies as a "tall tower", at least by recent standards.

Harbour Lights once again amazes me. Two Towers that I never thought that they could make look great are Oak Island and Sullivan's Island (Charleston Light) but they have! I really like Sullivans Island and I think it will be a big big seller in this area!

I'm looking forward to adding both those pieces to my collection. HL is certainly offering a great line-up for the last half of 2001.

I absolutely love these two new towers. They are going to make an excellent addition to my collection.

Now if HL would only add Cape Charles....

I am also looking forward to sullivans island but will also have to keep one of the ones I have with the red top so I will have both day mark colors.Bill O'Brien

I saw this for the first time on web the other day, and it is great. I look forward to adding this one to my collection.

Bill,

That 'daymark' thing that you do is very interesting. I wonder, do you think we can get HLs to fix us up a couple of 'Special Editions' with different daymarks for some of the lights? Sullivan's Island for you and Absecon for me (when they finally do Absecon at all).

I think that would be kind of hard to paint individual colors for collectorsI hope if and when HL puts out absecon they do it in the day mark I need so I dont have to repaint one of the others.Bill O'Brien

I was talking to one semi-disapointed HL collector yesterday.

She had heard large rumours about Absecon being made and was disapopinted when it was not announced. Having East Point as a "replacement" helped a little bit. She volunteers at Absecon during the part of the year that Sandy Hook is closed.

I was also kinda hoping that the rumours about Absecon were true, but I'll take East Point ( and Sullivans Island, etc).
