This light is near San Simeon. It looks kind of homely now because they have removed the lantern, but it's a beautiful tower that must have looked great in it's day! Does anyone have a nice old photo of the lighthouse in it's better years? I'd like to see HL do this one. Anybody else?

You're right, it would have to be shown as it was in the past. We saw it 2 months ago (from Hwy 1)and it was sad to see it decapitated with the ugly aero beacon. The high point would be that it is still a working lighthouse doing what it was built for.
Also,the lens is not on the tower however it does have a great display in Cambria.
