Stage Harbor in Chatham would be a wonderful addition to the Harbour Lights collection. It's one of my favorite lights I grew up with on Cape Cod. I hope to see it happen someday!

Hi Bill, I grew up in Chatham and spent many summer days on Hardings Beach and would wander down to Stage Harbor Lighthouse. Whenever I go home its one of my stops....I have to see Stage Harbor Light along with Chatham Light. Are you from Cape Cod too?

Where is the access to Stage Harbor Light? I've visited Chatham several times and didn't know about Stage Harbor and how to get to it. How about a little help with directions.

Hi Weezie what part of Chatham That is where I lived I still have 2 kids there.1 is phillip who manages the chatham hardwareon Main street downtownand my daughter penny who also works there.Now for Bob follow rte 28 till you get to barn hill rd.coming into Chatham turn right and when you can drive no further you are at HARDINGS beachbut when u come to the fork in the road do not go up the hill to the left when you get to the beach stage harbor light is as far as you can go to the left without getting your feet wet itis a good walk.You can also see it from the loop going around stage harbor.when yougo down barn hill rd across the st is Wheldons way and down Wheldons Way on the right is a big white house or at least it was last time I was there that is where my son lives or you can stop at Chatham hardware and ask for PhillIp and say hi also my daughter Penny works there.Bill O'Brien

Hi again Bob,if you want to go to stage harbor go by Chatham lightand go right and the body of water as you go over the bridge on the left is stage harbor the light is Hardings beach light.Bill O'Brien

Bill, I know Chatham Hardware well.I always love finding someone from Chatham...it doesn't happen that often. We'll have to chat sometime.
Bob, I'm glad that you now have directions to Stage Harbor....and I hope you get to visit it. I always would park at Hardings Beach and walk down to the light. It's not a bad walk at all.

I do hope that someday there's a Harbour Light of Stage Harbor...growing up in Chatham and going to Hardings Beach where you can see Stage Harbor Light down the beach is a special memory for me.
You know I think a Harbour Lights of when Chatham Light had Twin Towers would be great too!!

Bob if you go to photograph the light bring shoes good and comfortable for walking in sand.dont take my word for it ask Bob Scroope.I understand he did the hike one day.Bill O'Brien

Shoes? How long of a walk is it? If there is no broken glass, I would prefer to go barefoot.
