Here's a new one for me! I'm asking for an open edition GLOW.

Fire Island has a chance to get back it's first order fresnel lens. If they are lucky enough to get it, the problem now becomes where to store and exhibit it.
It rightfully belongs at the Fire Island Lighthouse, so wouldn't it be great to have a Glow to help raise money for the return and housing of the fresnel lens?
The LE has been retired since 1/28/1998, the LH has 100,000 visitors a year, and the tour guides that take you up the 180 ft tower tour climb (192 steps) are the most knowledgeable I've ever met.
What do you say forum members and Harbour Lights?

I would love to see Fire Island with it's first order fresnel lens. That would be great. Hopefully the powers that be will allow the the lens to be returned to Fire Island. I'm originally from Long Island and would love to see it returned. I have the Harbour Lights LE Fire Island piece, and would love to see the return of FO lens.
