Now that HL has listened to their collectors and produced the Coquille River Glow, will their ever be a possibility of a New Point Loma Glow?

I know I would love to add a NPL Glow to my collection. I was quite surprised that no one ever brought this topic up before. Lets hear what you folks have to say about a NPL Glow.

Bob,

I'm amazed, I didn't know that we collectors, collectively, were the Governor of Oregeon.

Next we take over the State of California. Tomorrow, the world. God, I love this forum. Nothing is impossible.

Fred, you can't fool all of us. We know it was you that broke into the Govenor's mansion, stole the letterhead, and forged his signature. Shame on you...and thanks alot! It saved Paul and I the trip.

HL has done NPL twice. I'd rather see them do another USA LE like Rockland Breakwater or one of the Florida Keys skeleton towers like Fowey Rocks or St. John's favorite Ft. Gratiot, MI or Ship Shoal or Ship John Shoal or ...

Can't remember if this conversation was covered here or back in the AOL BB days, but there was reported a conversation between Bill and Kim with Bill saying "Maybe someday" and Kim saying "Never, Never, Never!" (Or words to that effect for each). I don't see it happening.

As BoB is my witness: in a meeting of the 'Harbour Lights Collector Club, Great Lakes District' held inside the Wind Point lighthouse at Racine, I asked BY about the prospects for HL doing an NPL GLOW. Bill said it would never happen.

Paul and Jim Johnston (keeperjj) were also there, they may recall the same.

Newsbreak:

(From the front) - It appears that our hero Tim, after a long absence from the field of battle, has returned with a new tactic. Seeing that the philosophical carpet-bombing approach in the anti-GLOW crusade has not lived up to expectations, Tim has now taken to the streets going house-to-house in an attempt to forestall the introduction of individual GLOWS. Film at eleven.

Welcome home, Tim!

Lamar - It was my honor to be a straight man for such a noble cause.I wonder how Tim is making out with the door to door campaign. Now that we know the a.k.a. for GLOW his work may be easier.
Take care,
QC

I have been in the U. P. lighthousing, otherwise I would have supported your statement sooner, Tim. Yes, I remember both your question and Bill's answer, that they would never make a GLOW of New Point Loma. Since several of us at the meeting had been to the first reunion, the statement received a favorable reaction for the most part. Maybe it is selfish of me but the NPL stands for the first reunion and that is very special to me. I am not sure whether Jim heard Bill say it because by that time KeeperJJ was on cloud nine. The club he had worked long and hard starting had finally come together as a group. By the way JJ is still working long and hard on the club and the restoration of lighthouses. That reminds me I need to send in my dues for this next year.
