Since HL now does such a terrific job of trees, railings, and all the other intricate details ... How about a LE Fresnel lens? OK, so they don't know how to do it (yet), but they didn't know how to do a lot of things when they began. I don't mean a lighthouse with a lens in it, just the lens.

That would be an interesting piece to have. If you want to see what one looks like, click on the link below. http://zuma.lib.utk.edu/lights/fresnel.html "the lightkeeper"

WOW Al and Kathy. A truly awesome idea. Maybe they could do a clamshell, too.

Maybe Y&A can form a joint venture with Swarovski or Waterford for this. I think a lens in lead crystal would be a pretty neat thing to have.

ditto Art - crystal would be great. And do you want each of those prisms to be separate so you can assemble it?

Operational Fog Signal Building Models....
...First thought was those 'cow sound' toys you flip over to hear the sound, but in today's digital world, the 'sound chip' that can be found in some greeting cards could be incorporated into the cold-cast sculptures.

I am sure that most of us would love to have a Fresnel lens model. I especially like the idea of it having leaded crystal for the prisms, however, I think that it would be cost prohibitive. But if they manage to produce one, I am sure that somehow, someway I'll manage to amass the funds required! Well, it't time to go rattle around in the tower and make a like a good ghost. Hey Kat, ... I think you've hit the nail on the head. I love your idea of crystal fresnel lenses. One for each order lens would be fabulous. If crystal is not possible, then make them out of lexite. Sign me up! I'll take one of each! Does anyone else think this may ever happen? Bob

I have finished measuring the height of the ceiling of every room in the Brady home and found that the great room with cathedral ceilings is the only room tall enough to handle a first order Fresnel. I am clearing the center of the room out to handle the C HL FL. That was going to be the only part of the room without out HL. Hmm, I wonder if I could have my brother-in-law build me a lazy Susan to sit the C HL FL on, so it can revolve.
I love the idea of a series of the different Fresnel lens models, go for it HL
