Owls Head in Maine would be a challenge for HL with the long stairway leading up to the lighthouse. It would be a delicate piece because of this, but a unique one.

I'd very much like to see the Memorial Tower at Avery Point, in Groton, CT, made into a miniature. This tower is in the shape of a lighthouse, but was built to honor all lighthkeepers in the U.S. who served over the years. It would be a very special piece to add to anyone's collection. A fund is being started to restore it; and it would be great if part of the proceeds of this miniature would be donated by Harbour Lights to this preservation fund, just as they donate part of the proceeds of GLOWS for restorations. Go back to the General Forum and look at the 5/8 posting "a calendar can help in a preservation" Also look at my 5/7 posted reply to John Chidester's "Calendar 2000" for more information about how to donate to this fund.
