Eatons Neck Light, Montauk Light and the orginal Cape Henry Light in Virginia were all built by a man named McCombs. It would be nice for Harbour Lights to produce the third light.

I visited Eatons Neck a couple of years ago. We called and asked (practically begged) for permission to journey down the road with just about every sign except for "Tresspassers will be shot on sight".

No wonder they try to keep the place closed off from the public. What a beautiful location!

I would definitely support Eatons Neck Light as a future HL.

I'm all for it also! Looks like a great one. To me, it looks like Diamond Head a little bit! The more people that show interest, the faster Harbour Lights will make it! They are listening!

Eatons Neck has lots of signs but you can drive in to the main Coast Guard building and check in with the officer of the day. He'll let you walk the grounds around the lighthouse even now after 911. The tower is another story and you'll need an appointment to climb which are not easy to get.
