I'm sure this question has been asked before. Is there any way to remove the glue froma sales sticker that was placed over an original HL sticker? I removed the sticker itself with a blow dryer but the glue remains.

If you are talking about the label on the bottom of the lighthouse you should not attempt to remove them, it doesn't hurt the value of the lighthouse to have the sticker there and it shouldn't show when you display the lighthouse. Other Harbour Lights collectors always told me when I started collecting to leave the sticker on the bottom…. Most stores don't put the price stickers on them now that the labels are bar-coded. If you are talking about stickers that are placed on the surface of the lighthouse itself, don't buy the lighthouse! SaintWackoPaul' Keep the Flame

I know what you mean, Paul. I've visited HL Dealers and saw an adhesive price tag placed right on the outer surface of the HL. You may be able to pull the tag off but the little residue of glue will always be a dust collector. Bob

Talked to Nancy Younger on Saturday at the East Point, NJ Open House and she suggested I call HL and have them send me a new sticker. It's in the mail!!! That was easy...
