Hey guys and gals,
Yesterday I stumbled into an incredible display of Howard Miller Curio cabinets. All sizes and all lighted with glass shelves.
Can't spend now but will I look for ways to use these furnishings to display my collection? I'll need to add a room!

Was that literally stumbled into, as in local, or does it have a web sight? [This message has been edited by jchesher (edited 05-16-2000).]

I mean literally. Walked in out of the bright sun, and voila, there they were. With broken bonets, smaller arches, glass shelves notched on the back for plates and all mirrored backed and lighted.
Corner as well as rectangular. One could hold 84 models, it was that large. Antique replicas also.
Next time I'm there I'll ask about a web site. Have extra shelves available. Dark cherry finishes and oak. Some mahogany.

Hey Moby, ... Just be careful how many HLs you put on one shelf. Try and get the thicker shelves if possible (3/8" compared to 1/4"). I wouldn't want to trust my precious HLs to anything less than 3/8" shelves. Another good point is to look for the brass shelf supports instead of plastic ones. You will have a lot riding on your decision. Bob
