I remember reading about a company that makes glass domes here on the forums but don't know what heading to look under. (I need one for my Lady Liberty statue.) Unfortunately, I can't the name and would like to check out their site if they have one. Can anyone help me?

Search the Forums for 'dome'. Here's one message I posted about them: Found two on line: The first one doesn't seem to have a stock dome/base the right size. The second one does. I figured 91/2" tall x 8" Round -- but that has to be the INSIDE dimension for the dome. www.glassdomes.com www.bardspro.com/Domes.html

Dome it! Domes are a lot less expensive than curios. You can utilize more of the "flat spots" in you home and not worry about collecting dust on the HLs. Bob

To dome or not to dome, that is the question. I don't know Bob, three or four domes can equal a small curio which can hold a lot more than four pieces.

Here is another website that I found which had display cases. Not as elaborate as the other, but less expensive. It's not a dome, it a rectangle with wooden base. There is also a basketball display case, which is 10x10x10 which might be perfect for displaying Cape Hatteras on the Move or one of the other wider pieces. I couldn't copy that page, but go to the home page and scroll down for more display cases. http://www.productzoo.com/catalog/buy.cfm?productid=DC.7712.RH Joanne [This message has been edited by Joanne (edited 05-18-2000).]

How about a small upside down goldfish tank? Anyone ever tried that?

Mombo - you gave me an idea! I wouldn't turn the tank upside down, but what a great terrarium a beach scene would make. I have a space in my wall unit for a tv but no tv so now I'm thinking maybe I'll buy a 20 gallon tank, put in some plants, and then sand and an inexpensive lighthouse (heaven forbid a HL). I can even get some blue gravel to help give an illusion of water.
