I've shown this before, but not in a while:

This Pioneer brand photo album is one of the few I found that will accept the certificates -- without crunching them. It's an album designed for 4x6" photos - 2 to a page. In my album, I alternate the certificate with a photo of the lighthouse.

If you're lookin for an album to store your certificates, take a certificate with you to the photo store just to make sure they fit.

Wow! I especially like the way you pair the certificate with a photo of the HL.

This is what I came up with several years ago. I use a 3" three ring binder with 3-1/2 floppy disc pages for my certificates. I print out labels for the top, tuck the certs inside. When I have time I'll take a light out of the curio, read the certificate on it and just enjoy the beauty of it.

Here's my variation on the theme. One vunyl folder holds four (2 front, 2 back) on a form set up on Excel with the name and mounting locations imprinted.

All my HL's stuff, including postcards are in vinyl folders that hold them in a three ring zippered binder.

Mine is set up in a similar fashion to John's.

The background for the lighthouse photos is the Harbour Lights poster map. The 5x7 photopages allow for a paper border to be placed under the photo and the certificate.

Thank you all. I'm embarrased thinking that I didn't come up with something similar. Very efficient. THANKS!

Good morning John,

I purchased a Pioneer Photo Album that looks identical to yours yesterday at a local Officemax. My problem is that my certificates are 4 1/4 inches wide and are close but don't fit. Did you have to trim your certificates to get them in or should I check for another album. Thanks

Not all albums - nor Pioneer Albums are created the same. That's why I recommended you take a Certificate with you.

Take the album back and take a certificate with you.

What grat ideas! I had been keeping my cets in the original booxes, but that has proved not to be very feasible ... can't keep running back into the boxes all the time. And there is so much little or loose stuff I want to keep together as well ...so much information and I didn't have a good way to store it. I kept saying ..."Someday, I will get it organized!" You guys have given me the impetus ... I'll let you know how it goes!

Thanks,
Iris

John, I really like your idea of the certificate and a photo of lighthouse together. Great idea rather than keeping them in the boxes as I now do. Thanks GerryBu

I LOVE this idea, too... I bought my album this weekend and I can't wait to get it all together. Thanks, again, for showing it off.

Check out www.ultra-pro.com item # 202d a 2 card page 5x7 large enough for all associated paperwork plus post cards and they fit in a standard three ring binder.
B-Ball card collectors will know this line. These pages work great
