Sometimes it’s hard to tell the difference between a collector and a pack rat. You
gotta keep everything associated with your collection. In the case of Harbour Lights
that of course includes the Legacy. Here is an excerpt from the Fall 1996 issue,
Volume3, No. 4. Incidentally, it also has a picture of Bill destroying the master
molds (plural) of Coquille River.

Original Packaging

We have received many phone calls regarding original packaging. Typically a
dealer or collector will have removed their styrofoam popcorn or molded box insert in
an effort to save space, and worry that their packaging is somehow incomplete.

Harbour Lights defines original packaging” as the original box (usually blue)
along with the certificate of authenticity and history. The internal packaging
materials are generic and even change from time to time. They should not be
considered integral to the collectible. For those reasons we do not stock or provide
any replacement packing materials.

Shucks, there went the value of my foam popcorn signed by Bill Younger. LOL

I couldn’t find a copyright or no reproduction statement on either of the cited Legacys and I am
posting these without prior approval from Harbour Lights. If I missed the no reproduction without approval
statement, my humble apologies.
