Do you include Harbour Lights in your Holiday Decorations? Or do you decorate your Harbour Lights display for the holidays?

Tell us how you do that -- or better yet, show us a photo.

Haven't done it yet, but the minute I spotted your post all kinds of ideas came to mind. Thanks for reminding us. I think it will make a great display, especially with the new East Quoddy light sitting in my curio.

We put some of the ornaments on the tree along with some other lighthouse ormanents.
A couple of the Xmas pieces are always in our
curio cabinets.

Sorry, but my Harbour Lights decorate my life all year round. I put up the tree, my daughters decorate it it, and my wife does the rest of the house. (OK, I help string lights outside.)

I store my HL Christmas pieces all year except from the end of November till the middle of January. My Christmas pieces then occupy the first two shelves of my main curio. I also display my HL Xmas Ornie but not on my tree.

All of mine are out year round, even my ornaments. They adorn our powder room that is done completely in lighthouses.

I have three Xmas pieces in the top section of a barrister. Haven't done it yet but am planning to put a small string of battery operated lights aound them. Found some little suction cups to hold them in place. Guess those "village street lamps" would work too.

YES!!!

I remove some of my 'every day' HLs and put up my Winter/Christmas pieces. I place my Holiday ornaments in the same display and elsewhere around the living room. Sometime in Jan. I then take these down and put up a new set of 'every day' items. This gives me a reason to change my display and see HLs I have not displayed for awhile.

We just purchased small metal trees, with spirals at the end of each branch meant to display photos. We hung our HL ornaments on the trees for the holiday.

FYI - The trees came from our local Target store.

I have out of state family coming in for Thanksgiving. Since they won't be back for Christmas, I wanted my Christmas decorations up for everyone to see. In my family room I have a cluster of three trees that I call my nautical trees. I have all my HL ornaments on these trees plus any other nautical
items. I try to pick up ornaments from the different lighthouses that I have visited. They look great by my big curio with my other HL.

Polly - how tall are these 'trees'? How many ornaments will one hold? Do you have a photo?

We have a separate artificial mini-tree (2ft) that we adorn with HL ornaments and surround the tree with the Christmas pieces. The rest of the year the ornaments are displayed on the shelves with our other HL's. As a result of severe space limitations, the Christmas pieces spend the rest of the year displayed together in a different room from the main collection.

Well, last year I purchased a 6ft smaller branches tree for our Christmas tree. After the large tree we have had for the last 30 some years, it took some getting used to.(We affectionately called it a "Bottle Brush" tree-kinda reminded us of one.) I then purchased strings of white lights and small gold bows. After those items were on the tree then the HL ornaments were added. I did like it and there was not a lot to put away in January.

Since we will be spending the holidays with my twins, I felt the smaller tree was in order.
