Until we get the pages up, here's a peek at the three lighthouses which are featured in the current HL ad running in Collectors Mart Dec 98 issue.

White River MI

St. Mark's FL

Kilaeua HI - 1999 event piece

The St. Marks piece looks great. This lighthouse is about 20 miles due south of Tallahassee, Fl. It sets out in a marsh area and is still used by the Coast Guard Reserve as an opservation post and communication station.

Kilaeua, HI. What great timing. A friend of mine just got back from Hawaii and gave me 3 different negatives of pictures he took of this lighthouse. Blown up into 8 X 10's they really look nice on my wall. Now I can get the piece to go with them.

All three pieces look great! (We've all come to expect by that now, haven't we) I espically like White River, MI. It is always great to see another Great Lakes release.

Thanks for the early look John!

A peek at the real thing.

White River Lighthouse, which guards the channel to White Lake, which is just to the west of the town of Whitehall, MI. on Lake Michigan.

Thanks for the advance post John. Looks like 1999 will be a killer year. Love the Kilaeua piece, best look of the rocky edge since Pt.Arena.

John, thanks for the early look at these pieces. All look terrific (as we've come to expect), and it's especially good to see another Florida light on the way. Used to visit the wildlife refuge at St Marks while a student at FSU; this will be a great reminder of those fun times. I'm assuming these will be among the first releases of '99: any idea when we can expect them to "hit the street"?

We visited the White River light. They have on display their fresnel lense which is reported as being a 7 1/2. All we hear mention about is sizes is 1-6. jake

Thanks for the sneak peek John. They all look great especially White River but, I am partial to the Great Lakes.
