Has anyone found a way to use a single wall wart (aka power pack) to light up multiple lenses? I'd like to get more than one lens lit at the same time, but don't want a power strip with three or four power packs all drawing juice at the same time.

A very good question.... I would like to know the answer to this question as well. Any electrical engineers out there?

Department 56 has a ganged power supply. VIEW HERE but I'm not sure if the polarity and voltage are correct for the lighted Harbour Lights. This is intended for the bulbs that go inside the buildings, but might be adaptable.

It would be possible to power multiple lighthouses from a single wall wart provided the wall wart has the current capacity to handle the load, it would simply be a matter of making parallel connections to the wall wart's output. I am not home at the moment so I cannot check the voltage and current required for each lens nor do I know if they all operate at the same voltage. I would recommend that if you are going to power them often or leave them on that you make sure you can readily obtain replacement bulbs. If you need help with the design of a single wall wart supply for all of the lenses, I can help you with that, it really isn't difficult.

I believe that all but one of the lighted HLs have the same power supply requirements. However, I don't think any of them (possibly except the Fresnels) have replaceable bulbs.

Thanks John, and Mr. Ghost!
I'm only looking to power 2 or 3 Fresnels at the same time. Any more than that and I think the effect of any individual lens would be lost. At least as I have them arranged.
I could probably rig something up if I can find a parts source. All of the Fresnels use what look to be old fashioned flashlight bulbs. When running on batteries, it's (2) AA cells, so 3V DC? But I don't know what the current draw would be.
It was just an idea I had after rearranging my office and the HLs display. It would eliminate some clutter.
Mr. Ghost, if I can't figure something out, I'll contact you to take you up on your offer.
