The GSA is auctioning off a Chesapeake Bay lighthouse that is presently actually owned by the USLHS. Reading the article, it will be a definite challenge with the extra restrictions that will be in place. Lighthouse auction

Dave,
Yep, it's the restrictions that are the holdup. Maybe if the Coast Guard replaced it with modern tower/optic and bidders were allowed to relocate the 'Sparkplug', the auction action would be more robust.
