The forward crane on the tender on my Fourteen Foot Bank (event piece 677) does not have a line connecting the tip of the crane to the mast. Yet there is a hole in the tip of the crane. Should there be a line? The only photo I have is not clear.

On my Fourteen Foot Bank piece the forward mast(crane) that is leaning forward towards the bow has a hole in it at the end but no line or string, just a hole! The actual forward mast has 2 lines running to the railing on the starboard (right) side and 3 lines to the railing on the port (left) side. It also has a block and tackle located on the from of the mast that does not have a line from it. Hope this helps.

Rich's is typical of the configuration. Don't ever recall seeing a line to the boom.

Well Alan, did the answers you received clear up your questions? It's always nice to get a reply from the person asking the questions when a question is answered.
