This renaming of schools, ships, etc. and removing statues to appease protestors is starting to get out of hand such as the move to destroy Mt Rushmore. It makes me sad that I served 23 years in the military to preserve the history that we had only to see it slipping away.

This ship is a piece of history. I would certainly like to see them leave the name intact and not simply use the hull number.
