1. Harbour Lights #357 Cedar Point, OH with COA and Box!
$405.00. 34 bids +$13.50 shipping.

Last year in July one went for $567, then one in August for around $500 and then in September for $300. There are 2500 made, I thought by now they would be coming out of the wood work and start driving the prices down. , But that has not happened as the eBay prices show it is still going strong. It is one of my favorites and I feel comfortable giving it a value of $350 to $450

2. Harbour Lights Old Portland Breakwater Maine #567
Pre-Owned $289.99 Free Shipping.

Free gift for the 2011 Society Membership (Fee $45.00)
I am okay with this price because it is just so hard to find. But it’s on the high side. I feel that it is a sleeper and it is just starting to show its true worth.
Having said that I believe that the free gifts are not as popular as the HL 300’s. Since one just sold last week for $125 I give it a value of $150 to $250.

3 .Harbour Lights #651 3rd Order Beehive Fresnel Lens, Signed by B. Younger, NIB Brand New $249.99 +$13.50 shipping

Sold a little high with the going price on Ebay going for $ 150 to $200. With $5,000 of these produce, the #651 still manages to sell for a good price.

4. Harbour Lights Lighthouse #330 Staten Island Range (NY) Limited Edition 2006 #25 $235.00 +$27.11 shipping.

Too high even for a low number of 25. One went for $400 last October and another for $235 this month, but with a production of 4,500 you should be able to find it for around $80 to $150.

5. 1997 Harbour Lights Navesink (Twin Lights) NJ Signed Special Ed. #3426 COA w/Box $199.99 Buy It Now +$30.00 shipping.

I just did a search for Navesink that are available now on eBay. Ten of them came up from $45 to $175 with shipping from free to $27.40. Why in the world would someone buy the highest price Navesink with the highest shipping. Sounds suspicious to me. Navesink on eBay usually sells between $40 and $100

6. HARBOUR LIGHTS #360 SOUTH HAVEN MICHIGAN
Pre-Owned $200.00 +$20.00 shipping.

Going price.

7. HARBOUR LIGHTS LIGHTHOUSE HL#363 CAPE SAN BLAS FL.
$200.00. 1 bid +$20.00 shipping.

The Last four on Ebay when for $132, $147.50, and $150 AP and $ 225. It looks like it is on its way up. My guts tell me it is worth more but just don’t see it yet on EBay. One thing to keep in mind with eBay is that the belief is it is a good reference for the current value. That is somewhat true, but with the “Buy It-Now” is influenced by what the seller wants. The seller may be too low (in this case) and sets its value low or he may be high and intimidate the buyer into buying, believing this is his last chance, and this of course brings the value up.

It is still a Florida light with a small production of 1500 and I feel it will eventually start going for $250 to $300

8. RARE! 2003 Harbour Lights 2nd Order Fresnel Lens Boston Harbor Lighthouse #665. $195.00 Buy It Now +$18.20 shipping

Around $200 is Going Price

9. Harbour Lights East Chop Massachusetts #561
$209.99 Buy It Now Free Shipping

Way high. This is the Harbour Lights 2009 Society Membership free gift. Granted it is hard to find, but not like the 2011. I think its one of those cases that the buy it now drove the price up, not competitive bidding. Value $80 to $120

10. Harbour Lights Lighthouse SAND KEY FL #288 *Beautiful Piece*
$140.00 Buy It Now, Free Shipping.

Its retail value is $125 with a production of 4500. One just went last week for $64. This one went a little high. I put its value at $64 to $125

Thanks for your report and all the work behind it, Daniel. Nice information for collectors to have. Nice to see some HLs going for a decent price.

Can't believe someone shipped a Navesink for $30. Don't you need to use a freight company for that??

Dave

I just did an update on the Navesink.

Following an eBay search for the currant available Navesinks, Ten of them came up from $45 to $175 with shipping from free to $27.40. Why in the world would someone buy the highest price Navesink with the highest shipping. Sounds suspicious to me. Navesink on eBay usually sells between $40 and $100

That Staten Island was actually originally bought from me for $80.00. The buyer is one who will haggle to get a piece for as low as he can and then puts it on EBAY for a ridiculously high price. He doesn't mind fleecing people, in fact he relishes it. He tried to purchase more pieces from me but I have shut him off. He was very upset and told me I had no right to stop selling things to him as it was his right to sell for what he wanted and if people were stupid and bought stuff at his price, it wasn't his fault. I urge everyone to beware of this guy!!
