It is so quiet here I think I just heard a pin drop. It fell on the carpet and I still heard it.
I am not sure how many people are here to read this but I just thought I would wish everyone a safe Memorial Day weekend. Enjoy the days, visit your family and friends and maybe a lighthouse or two.
As for me I plan on staying home this weekend and getting some work done inside since it looks like it is going to be very hot outside.
Cheers
Jim

Yes, exceptionally quiet here on the Forums. Even for the Forums.
Thank you Jim, for the weekend well wishes. And the same to you and all who happen to check-in here over the holiday.

We are staying around Ocala, FL this whole weekend. Maybe going to build an Arc since we have gotten 11 inches of rain over the past week and a half with another 2-3 inches coming due to the tropical storm coming up the Gulf Coast. At least the grass has turned green!

Just heard three pin drops and there it is three Forum participants on the same day. Just like Rich, going to read Genesis this week end and review the Arc Plans. Rain for the whole week. But that is a lot better than a drought any day.

Hi all
Thanks for the replies. I am just staying inside in the air conditioning.
To Rich and Daniel -
Having lived in Coral Springs just west of Pompano Beach, I know what heavy rain does to the ground and roads in FL. Puddles and Puddles and more Puddles. I could send you the ark I used in the middle of this past winter when we had an early thaw and lots of rain. I had a small lake in my back yard about 10 ft. wide by 25 ft. long and 6 to 8 inches deep. My sump pump ran every 30 seconds for about 24 hours then every minute for another 24 hours before slowing down as the water went away.
I think I would take the rain you are having over the HOT weather we are having in MI this weekend. Temperatures here are in the low 90s with heat index of middle 90s. I am glad I did not have any outside plans with those temperatures.
