We received our Rock Islands from Harry Hine yesterday and I must say, they are spectacular! Harry has done a magnificent job on these...KUDOS!!!
All ordered Rock Islands have been shipped to our customers, including any of you who had us hold your Jones Point until we got the Rock Islands in so we could ship them together. You should have all received emails with tracking information.
Although we completely sold out of all of our original Rock Island allotment, I was able to finagle a few more from Harry, (including one extra double digit). If you have yet to order yours, now is the time to act as I anticipate these to be sold rather quickly.
Another consideration... as I deal with the Harbour Lights secondary market on a daily basis, I have a rather fair handle on the market and its' trends. I would absolutely recommend that anyone who has already bought this piece or who is on the fence as to whether or not he/she should purchase it, buy one (or another one) and put it away for the time being. I would expect that Harry's first Christmas lighthouse will have some value in the coming months. Harry's already working on his next sculpture and collectors are going to discover his work and it will be in greater and greater demand. I don't see you losing on this one!
