Hi! I'm a new-ish member here (2 months) and have a question... not sure if this is the spot, but it looks like people do go here, so a good a place as any :-)...

HL 357 (Cedar Point)... been looking for it for awhile, someone has it on eBay this week... but something curious I noticed... the one on eBay does not have the roller coaster on it... well, the structure is there but the cars are not...

Was there two different versions made? One with the roller coaster cars and one without? I'm confused. I really want the one with the roller coaster cars, but want to see if maybe there are two versions. To see the one on eBay without cars, it should be there until 08/29/16... it looks weird without the cars to be honest.

Someone in the know please let me know.

Thanks so much!!!

To the best of my knowledge there was never one made without the roller coaster cars. If there was it would be a real variance but I would guess that the cars (glued on) have simply come unglued. I will check some more because if this is a variance I need to put it in my Volume on variances.

Anybody else out there hear about this???

I just looked at the picture close-up and I can tell where the roller coaster cars have broken off. If you look close you will see several white spots where the cars have broken off and left chips (white spots). No doubt in my military mind that this is a damaged piece and not a variance.

Thank you for your expertise! I guess I will have to wait around for an HL357 with the cars... thanks again!

Rich is exactly right. All of the Cedar Points came with cars. As I've always said about EBAY...BUYER BEWARE!!

If you want one in perfect shape, Roland may have one in his inventory.

This piece already has 23 bids on it and is at $78+ dollars. They must be people that don't realize the coaster cars are missing.

Many probably do. It's a very popular piece that sells out as soon as we get our hands on one. This one has definitely increased in value.
