I just caught the last part of a very interesting show on one of the PBS sub-channels. The show is "Chesapeake Bay by Air". As you can imagine, lots of great video of places all over the bay from the air - including a number lighthouses along with some narration on their history. Based and the half of the show I saw I wish I had seen the entire show. It is a 2011 copyright so I am guessing it is a program they run occasionally to fill in a time spot.

If you see this on your PBS station's listing it is well worth the hour spent watching it. Many of us have traveled in the bay area, but seeing it from the air really brought back some nice memories.

Here is a web site about the show.

it is a great program. I have been to many of the locations and can tell you where you are before the narrator. The bay is where I got my love for lighthouses.

Thanks Dave for the heads up about the show. It was very interesting to watch the video you sent. I am very familier with the views shown in the video. Hal

Thanks for the heads up about the show and the video. Visiting Chesapeake Bay and all of its lighthouses is certainly on my bucket list. I will order the video so that I can have a great overview of what I will be seeing.
