Thanks for sharing Rosalie. Love all the little harbour/channel lights! The vertical red and white striped light is interesting, I like seeing towers with different patterns.

I was hoping someone who knew could label them for me. The Lighthouse Directory only has three - Fort Denison (Pinchgut) (which is the first one), and the lightship which I don't think I saw and another one which is in a museum - ditto. I think the second lighthouse with the little bridge is Bradleys Head Light or Robertson Point Light, but I don't know which

Here is the Lighthouses of Australia page for NSW lights (Sydney is in NSW). You can look for them there. When Heather did her student teaching in NSW 5 years ago she took pictures of all these lights. Have them labeled, just don't have them on this computer. The tower sticking up above the houses on a hill is Macquarie.

Am now on a cruise ship so I am paying for the internet - I will look them up when I get back (August) I have a hard time telling the East and West harbor entrance ones apart. Anyway I found two more when we had lunch at the Sydney Tower They were at the Maritime Museum and from the aquarium across Darling Harbor and the lightship

For those keeping score the tripod mast in the second photo is the mast off the light cruiser HMAS Sydney (1912). HMAS Sydney
